Quicken Loans - Manipulating
I contacted Quicken Loans in the process to compare rates and fees for a mortgage refinance. Scott A****r seemed fair enough but with exception of the interest rate he kept telling me this was the best deal of the summer, better than anyone else. I just wanted a quote/estimate and had to take another phone call. He said he just had a few more questions and so I asked my wife to give him the info needed.
An hour later I came out from my phone call to see that Scott had told my wife I had agreed to apply for the loan and she was still on the phone with him. I interrupted then and told him I only wanted an estimate. He said it was the best deal. Once I got the estimate I see it has higher fees, higher monthly payment and higher closing costs than the other three estimates I got after that. More than that, I believe Scott was taking advantage of my wife and I and I will never work with Quicken Loans who apparently are fine with manipulating people to get their money.
