I was getting ready to refinance with Quicken Loans until I read all the internet complaints. I should have done that first before wasting my time only to find out that $500.00 GOOD FAITH money is a scam.He said only $1.00 would be posted, so I could recieve my documents to look over, and the $500.00 would be charged to lock in the rate of 4.75%. They almost had me ,but something stuck out in my mind and I told the guy no way I am giving them my credit card because something smelled fishy. His and my attitude changed quickly and thank God that I didn't go thru with it.They also told me I would NOT need an appraisal which sounded strange. BEWARE!! Randy from Virginia 129c793

Thank you all very much for your comments. I am waiting on a Quicken Loan officier to call me back in a few minutes to start the mortgage process. I thought, "while I wait let me see what others are saying about Quicken Loans". I am glad I took the time to look on-line and glad he told me he would call me back. Gave me time to think. When he calls back, I will listen and very confidently tell him that I am not interested in proceeding with the refinance. Thank you all for taking the time to keep us informed. Today is November 10, 2011.
