New ReviewerLooking to do a small refi. Quicken loans called within 10 seconds after I completed online form and then asked me a series of questions which appeared necessary to find out what I was interested in and up to that point it all sounded legit.
Last Q. was for authority to access a credit report to which i did and they would call back next day. They did indeed call with offer to lower my int rate from 3.99 to 3.68 from a 30 yr term to 15 year term, but with over $3400 in closing costs they would just bundle into the loan I laughed and said not interested and said to call back with a better rate and a ton of lower closing costs or don't bother me anymore. They said they would call back in 1 minute.
They did but did not tell my wife what they wanted and just asked for me while I was in shower. Wife said to email me. They did not. Credit Karma notified me next morning that a company named "credco" made a credit pull of our file on record at equifax/transunion.
I did not authorize Credco, but did authoriz QL to make a credit report pull and I called the number Credco listed with Equifax/transunion. No answer and instead a double busy. Bye Bye so called Quicken Loans. Damm.....
I wished I would have researched them here before I bit hook line and sinker on their internet trolling and smooth talkers. Thanks Pissed Consumer for doing what you do...exposing truthout like this.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Quicken Loans Cons: Pushy and a big sell job.
