Working with Quicken has been an absolute nightmare. Before we even starting looking for homes, we contacted them and asked for a preapproval letter. Once we had that in hand, we started looking. Once we found a house, we again called to ask for confirmation we were approved. Dustin, our loan officer, told us we were good to go at least 20 times. Well, fast forward a month and hundreds of documents supplied...less than 2 weeks before close, DENIED. We were assured the entire time we were good to go and jumped through all their hoops and did everything right, denied. Not even enough courtesy to call to let us know. Luckily for us, we were able to find other financing quickly. Had we not, our 3 very young children could have been homeless. When my husband called to request our $400 back, Dustin acted like we were just pissed about the loan and causing trouble. Funny, he was great to work with up until we were no longer a cash cow for him. He won't return our calls or $.

Not only do their representatives lie and refuse any accountability, but their junk fees are ridiculous!!! Same loan with same everything, except now our fees are less than $1000 due and close opposed to $3200 had we gone with Quicken.

Do your research and avoid them! They don't care about you or your family! Terrible, terrible company!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Right On. Spread the word.

Annoying underwriting process hundreds of pages of unneeded documents. I finally went off and cancelled. My was a re-fi and it was a horrible experience.

Never Again. All people should stay as far away.

I didnt have any trouble so far . Hoping to pay more a month to help pay it off after June

Were you able to get the 400$? This happend to us too afer giving all infomations they got our 1000$ and paid inspection
